In 2004, Keith Bloemendaal, the owner of Dutch Built Homes, relocated to Carolina Beach, NC after being captivated by the close-knit beach community during a visit from Florida. The company's name pays tribute to his Dutch heritage and his Great, Great Grandfather who emigrated from the Netherlands to farm in the midwest in 1867. It all started right here in Carolina Beach.
We take an immense amount of pride in making dream homes a reality, and would be honored to partner with you on that journey.

One advantage of choosing Dutch Built Homes is their familiarity with the Carolina Beach area, its building regulations, and its distinctiveness. Dutch Built Homes office resides in Carolina Beach, and Keith is also actively involved in the community and invested in its growth. Keith served as the Vice Chair of the Planning and Zoning Board for Carolina Beach, and has previously held positions as Vice Chair of the Marketing and Advertising Committee for tourism, as well as Vice Chair of the Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce.
